Assassin's Creed Unity Patch 4 weighing in at 40GB for Xbox One Owners

Beleagured developers as Ubisoft have been tireless in their efforts to patch up the many bugs that beset their epic Assassin's Creed title - graphical glitches, framerate issues, buggy AI to name but a few.

The Canada-based teams have already released three updates to address many issues, and have even promised a free AAA game for those who purchased the season pass.

Today, the fourth patch for the title ran into a bug of it's own - it is reporting as a 40GB download for some users on XBox One, rather than the expected 6.7GB and indeed larger than the original download for the full game.

When asked for comment, Ubisoft have confirmed that some users are reporting this issue and that they are investigating further. As a workaround, they have suggested deleting the local install of the game and trying to download it again - or reinstall from Disc and the patch 'should' report the correct size.
