It's the news that many have been waiting almost 18 months for: Heists are coming to Grand Theft Auto Online.

This isn't a secret feature that Rockstar have been keeping under wraps since GTA V launched in late 2013. It has always been 'coming soon', but presumably the effort to port to PC and New Gen consoles took the development team away from working on this feature.

Now that GTA V is available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC Rockstar have pulled back the curtain a little bit in an interview with IGN and with a sparkly new trailer.

From these juicy titbits, we can build a picture of what is to be expected when the long-awaited DLC drops early in 2015.
