Xbox Chief teases 'Interesting' Xbox and PC Gaming news

Speculation is already rife that Microsoft will be unveiling some big things for bringing Xbox One and PC closer together. The Xbox One already runs a modified Windows 8 OS and uses Microsoft's Hyper-V technology to manage the multiple Operating Systems on the console.

With Windows 10, Microsoft is looking to unify it's Operating System further across all devices: Smartphone, Tablet, PC, Xbox and the Internet of Things devices. In a January 21 press event, it is expected that Microsoft will reveal more of this unification and how it will affect the consumer side of the products.

Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, poured some more oil on the internet rumour flames. Answering a tweet from Kim Lee, he replied that the press event will be interesting for both PC and XBOX Gamers.

I guess we'll have to wait one more month before we get all that information.
