Microsoft's excellent budget smartphone, the Lumia 535, is gaining traction across the world as it starts to pop up in more and more retail locations. It has recently landed in Ireland and available for order, SIM free, from Argos for only €115.

The Lumia 535 is a worthy successor to the wildly successful Lumia 520, we'll be kind and ignore the Lumia 530 and call that a mistake. It features a 5-inch screen, front and rear 5MP cameras, an LED Flash and 1GB of RAM, which vaults it over the Lumia 635 in that regard.

Running the Lumia Denim update will ensure that it can take advantage of all the extra features on offer in that update.

Microsoft have previously stated that it expects all Windows 8 Lumia devices to receive Windows 10 when it releases, with a preview expected to be available before the end of the month - we should hear more tomorrow.

Thanks to Jimbo over at TechBuzzIreland for the tip.
