Windows 10: Microsoft allow you to enter your personal Holodeck (sort of)

Microsoft unveiled perhaps the most surprising piece of hardware during their event today: Windows Hologram and Windows HoloLens.

A head-worn piece of kit that will allow you to see and interact with projected items in real-time 3D presentation in your room, or wherever you may be. Completely without being tied to a PC or any other device.

Of course the device has caught the attention of NASA, who would like to use it to allow it's team to interact with it's footage of Mars and walk around the pictures captured by it's Rover.

It's not all high falluting nonsense either, Microsoft already have a build of Holo-Minecraft available for the device.
