The next Windows 10 on phone build will be here ... soon.
The anticipation is building for the next Preview build of Windows 10 on Phones. It's been a while since the first, very early build was released to Windows Insiders and one is expected soon. Some sources claim that a build should drop this week, but let's take a quick look on where Microsoft are in the process.

The partition stitching feature code has been added to the latest internal builds, which will allow the system to dynamically use some free space from other storage to temporarily have enough space to update.
This feature and testing has allowed Microsoft to immediately add support for a wider variety of handsets.
While this will include many more phones, if any individual handsets cause issues during testing Microsoft are prepared to drop them from the supported list for the next build rather than delay the next build awaiting a fix. One notable casualty is the Lumia 930 / icon, which isn't included in the list.
