New Trailer Shows Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs
It has been almost four years since Steve Jobs died and interest in the legendary founder of Apple has not abated. Walter Isaacson's detailed biography gave an insight into the man behind the turtle neck and what brought Apple to the brink of being the worlds most expensive company.
Today we have the first glimpse of Michael Fassbender in the title role of Danny Boyle's new Steve Jobs biopic. Penned by Aaron Sorkin (The Newsroom, The Social Network, The West Wing), this movie takes a different slant to the 2013 film staring Ashton Kutcher in that it does not try to portray the whole life of Jobs, but rather is set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac.
Kate Winslet stars as former marketing chief of Macintosh. Joanna Hoffman, Steve Wozniak, who co-founded Apple along with Jobs, is played by Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels stars as former Apple CEO John Sculley.
Steve Jobs is expected to release in cinemas on 9. September.
