Set after the original Mass Effect trilogy, a teaser trailer was unveiled by BioWare and EA today for the next chapter in the Mass Effect story.

Backed by a Johnny Cash tune and overlooking a western like environment, we see a hand flip through pictures of various environments then pan back to the original. Touching it briefly we hear the Mass Effect relay spin up and the person turn to walk to the camera and an N7 emblem shimmers in the light.

After the jump is complete we are treated to various action sequences from the new game, showing what is capable using EA's in-house FrostBite engine rather than unreal from the original Trilogy.

Mass Effect Andromeda is not expected to land on our shores until 'Holiday' 2016.
