In LA, during their pre-E3 press briefing, Microsoft showed off their latest plans to blur the lines between Windows 10 and Xbox Gaming. Xbox Play Anywhere is a program that allows gamers to buy a compatible game once, either on Windows 10 or Xbox and play it on either device.
Game progress will be saved across platforms, so you can drop out of your game on Xbox One and pick it back up on your Windows 10 PC.
A large list of launch titles will be supporting this feature, unsurprisingly all Microsoft Studios titles will be enabled, including flagship titles Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2. Other games will be available including Ark Survival Evolved, We Happy Few and Cuphead are expected to follow suit.
