Facebook expands Dublin Headquarters with 200 new jobs

Hot on the heels of Paypal's announcement of 100 new jobs, Facebook has similar good jobs news for the capital: 200 new jobs in Sales, Engineering and Online Operations, which it expts to be filled by the end of 2016.


Facebook Dublin Expansion

The announcement will bring to 1,500 the number of Irish-based employees in the firm and will involve further expansion of it's premises on the 'Silicon Docks' area of Dublin and is in addition to the announcement at the start of the year of a Data Centre to be housed in Clonee.

Speaking of the new positions, Facebook's country manager, Gareth Lambe said: "Our commitment to hire 200 talented people before the end of 2016 demonstrates our continued investment in Ireland and reaffirms Dublin as our international headquarters,"
