Omens are good for GamerCon as HP announced as headline sponsor.
In a little over a week GamerCon, the largest PC and video game convention ever held in Ireland, will kick off at the Convention Centre in Dublin.
The organisers GamerCon are the putting the final pieces in place and today announced a headline sponsor for the event, OMEN by HP. The OMEN range of PCs and Laptops are designed specifically for the Gamer with top of the line graphics cards, cooling systems and audio options in sleek, modern designs.
Billed as a family friendly event, the eSports stage brought by Omen by HP will join along with the retro gaming, Virtual Reality, Console, PC and Mobile gaming zones. A weekend-long Cosplay championship will invite all attendees to unleash their creativity.
Anticipating 20,000 attendees was no small feat for the first year of this convention, but with tickets for the Saturday completely sold out CEO of GamerCon, Ferdi Roberts, believes that the final figure could reach 30,000.
In addition to HP as a headline sponsor, platinum sponsor GameStop will be on the show floor with both Sony and Microsoft as Gold Sponsors of the event along with Alienware, Razer, Creative and Red Bull appearing as major presences during the event.
GamerCon will take place at Dublin's Convention Centre on Saturday 18 March and Sunday 19 March. With Saturday sold out, limited tickets are still available for Sunday.
